Steven is a son of David (Elder) and Lynda Kasprzyk.  He was employed with Trollen Heating and Cooling for several years. He then moved to the Milwaukee area.

Paul Keene

Residency: Early 1950's

Paul Keene was from Chicago where he was an ink salesman with accounts that included the Chicago Tribune. He built a large home on Big St. Germain Lake in the 1950's.  He also developed the Timber Gate subdivision after the airport plan fell through.  His refusal to compromise on a price for the land the state wanted to change the Junction of Hwy 155/70 is the reason it is the way it is today.  He moved to Florida in the late 1980's.

Kent Knitt

Residency: 1973

Kent is married to Terry Knitt and a son of William and Shirley Knitt.  He took over management of Knitt's Hardware in 1996.  He was chief of the St. Germain Fire and Rescue Department from 1988 - 2004.

Shirley Knitt

Residency: 1973

Shirley was married to William Knitt and the mother of Ken Knitt.  She helped manage and operate Knitt's Hardware.  She is now retired and alternates between St. Germain in the summer and Florida in the winter.

Terri Knitt

Terri is married to Kent Knitt and helps with the the management and operation of Knitt's Hardware.  She recently underwent a kidney transplant of which her son, Shawn, was the donor.

William Knitt

Residency 1973

Bill was married to Shirley Knitt and the father of Kent Knitt.  He purchased Hansen's Hardware when he moved here in 1973.  The store was then located in the mall about where the salon is now.  The name was changed to Knitt's Hardware Hank®, but is more commonly known as Knitt's Hardware.

Jack Koch

Residency: 1982

Jack purchased the St. Germain Sport Marine (Welch's Sport Shop) from Jack Mohn.  It was then known as Jack's Sport and Marine and he left the name the same.  He operated it for twelve years and sold it to Tom Christensen.  He is currently living in Florida.

Patti Koch

Patti was married to Jack Koch and is the mother of Thomas Koch and Kim Camp.  She helped operate Jack's Sport and Marine (Welch's Sport Shop).  Her cause of death in 1987 is unknown.  Interment is in St. Germain Cemetery.

Frank Kras

Frank was a well-known resident of St. Germain for many years.  His death was sudden and of unknown cause.  He passed away only three days from his 39th birthday.  There is a Frank W. Kras memorial bench for him on the St. Germain Golf Course.

Carol is married to Michael Kubiaczyk and is the mother of Ray Kubiaczyk.  She taught in St. Germain Grade School (Red Brick) for several years.  Now retired.

Mike was a principal and a teacher in Northland Pines Middle School in Eagle River, WI until his retirement.

Ray is a son of Michael and Carol Kubiaczyk and a brother to Ron and Renee.  Little else is known of Ray.

Ronald Kubiaczyk

Ron is a son of Michael and Carol Kubiaczyk.and a brother to Ray and Renee.  He has been employed at Camp's Super Value for many years.  He suffered a serious heart attack in January 2008, but recovered to where he went back to work.
