figure in the development of the bass ponds and spent
much time and energy in their development and
maintenance.

Leon Anderson

Leon is well known as "Buckshot" Anderson.
He is married to Peggy Anderson and the
father of Anna,
Cheri, and
Chris. Buckshot is
the last of the real northwoods fishing guides in the
area and has been inducted in the Guides Hall of Fame in
Hayward, WI. He is the son of
Roy
Anderson
and was born and raised on Kosomo Lake. He taught in the
red brick school in St. Germain for several years, then went to North
Lakeland school where he taught for more that twenty
years. He is currently retired and the author of
several books.
He was one of the first members of the Northland Pines
School Board when the district went K-12 and is
currently on the Vilas Historical Museum Board (Sayner).

of Little St. Germain. He changed the name to West Bay

Lake-Aire Supper Club (Lake Aire
Tavern) for a
time when
Glenn Giese owned it. He
was then involved in area real estate and home
construction. He is currently living in Florida.
